Fred Hueston, Chief Technical Director
Fred, aka “Dr. Fred” is known worldwide and is regarded as the foremost expert on natural stone, tile, and other surfaces. He is our Chief Technical Director, where he provides a wealth of support to our PRO Partners on the Partner Discussion Group. He is also the author of The Stone and Tile Restoration Manual (sr-manual.com). He answers consumer questions via our Knowledge Base and YouTube channel. Fred also teaches many courses through the Surface Care PROS Learning Institute. He is the creator of breakthrough products with the Dr. Fred’s Innovative Solutions label that address surface care concerns for both professionals and consumers.
Fred is a nationally known consultant and the founder of Stone Forensics. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Physical Science (Limnology) (University of Central Florida 1981). He is a certified master stone craftsman and Architectural Conservator, a member of ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) C-18 committee. He is a Technical Editor for Stone World Magazine and instructor for Certified Marble and Stone Inspectors via IICRC and has appeared on several television shows including The Discovery Channel, HGTV and several local talk shows. Fred frequently presents seminars and presentations for stone, tile and historical associations. He has published over 100 articles on stone installation, care & restoration in both the United States and international publications and journals.
Bob Murrell
Steve Aleric, Tile and Grout Restoration Technical Director
Steve has spent decades in the tile and grout restoration world — not just working in it, but shaping it. As the owner of ColorSealPro and Grout Perfect/Perfect Services (his service business), he’s helped countless professionals add grout cleaning, sealing, and color sealing to their service lines, turning technical skills into profitable business opportunities. His foundation in business, with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, gives him a unique perspective on how to connect the craft of restoration with the numbers that drive growth.
What sets Steve apart is his wide-ranging experience. He’s worn every hat in the industry: technician, salesperson, marketer, customer service rep, and business owner. That full-circle view gives him a deep understanding of the challenges owner-operators face — from learning the craft to keeping the phones ringing.
As Tile and Grout Restoration Technical Director, Steve’s role is to put that knowledge to work for PRO Partners. Whether it’s sharing best practices, troubleshooting technical issues, or offering business-building insights, Steve is committed to helping industry pros succeed and thrive in the tile and grout restoration field.

Debbie
Debbie is the founder of SCP. She brings many years of expertise with SEO and marketing, including stunning design and writing compelling content almost exclusively for the floor and surface care industry. If you have a technical issue with social media, or coding, Debbie will refer you to someone else on the team. She learned years ago that to be expert and staying up on continual learning requires focus and she has selected a team that brings expertise in those areas. But if you are looking for Marketing support Debbie is your Go-To person.
Payal (pronounced Pile)
Webmaster, Social Media Master, SEO Goddess! Payal is the director of Partner website support. She oversees the SEO maintenance team, website development teams, and social media. Curious and always eager to grow professionally, Payal stays on top of the latest industry developments and concepts, continually coming up with new ways to incorporate them into our services. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Application, with an in-depth command of search engine optimization (SEO) and social media marketing (SMM).
Sharon
Sharon has been in the stone and construction industry for over two decades. She has been a project manager in both industries plus she has held numerous positions in the stone fabrication industry, including shop management and installation management. Sharon is a routine contributor to Surface BUZZ magazine and she wrote for the Slippery Rock Gazette for nearly a decade, contributing over 100 articles on various topics.
Sharon brings her familiarity and writing skills to craft articles and case studies on behalf of and for PRO Partners.
Jai
Jai is part of our PPC Team. He is our Partner Manager specifically for Google Ads. He is your first point of contact should you need to discuss anything or review your ads. Jai works closely with our technical team to make sure our PPC Partners are well taken care of.
Doug S.
As our Partner Manager, Doug functions as a liaison between Partners and our Creative / Technical team. He is the first point of contact and the one that makes sure our Partners’ needs are addressed. Doug’s professional education and background is in human resources and Franchise support. If Doug isn’t at work, you can just about bet he’s on a cruise to some wonderful, exotic place.
Pam
Pam manages the bookkeeping and office management at Surface Care PROS. You will find that she is a people person with a warm, welcoming personality, who strengthens the Surface Care PROS team with her diligence in everything she does, from her routine bookkeeping to myriad admin responsibilities…. data entry, assembling presentation materials, and running reports to fielding phone calls and more.
